Moving on

 A lot has happened in the time I've been "away," but my passion for paper dolls remains intact. Even with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I want to continue contributing to the growth of this universe and keeping you all close. I want to thank everyone who visits this blog and who, since 2008, have helped me keep this very special space alive. All of you from United States; Hong Kong; Singapore; Brazil; Germany; Spain; United Kingdom; India; Russia; Mexico; Vietnam; Malaysia; France; Poland; Denmark; Argentina; Saudi Arabia; Peru; Canada... and other places that the statistics chart doesn't show me. 

I will continue sharing my own paper dolls, here, on Pinterest and Instagram, but I will also continue looking for new artists and paper dolls that haven't been replicated on so many other blogs dedicated to the same theme. The idea is to keep this blog always fresh, curious, and inspiring. Whenever I find something interesting, I promise to bring it here. And, to brighten your day, here's a paper doll that brings together everything I've always hoped for—or wished for—in a paper doll. 

Unfortunately, I couldn't save the artist's name. I searched the internet, but I didn't find any reference. If anyone knows, I would appreciate it if you could leave that information in the comments.

Aconteceu muita coisa durante este tempo que estive"ausente", mas a minha paixão por paper dolls continua intacta. Mesmo com a correria do dia a dia, quero continuar a dar o meu contributo para o crescimento deste universo e a manter-vos por perto.

Why be different when you can be yourself?

Paper dolls are usually designed with beautiful bodies, true to beauty and fashion stereotypes. 

This paper doll called my attention. It has all the attributes of a paper doll (except the tabs)... I found it very interesting that its representation broke with these ideas of a perfect body type and it came with a contemporary and colorful outfits.

Normalmente as bonecas de papel são desenhadas com corpos lindos, fiéis aos estereótipos de beleza e moda. Esse paper doll tem todos os atributos de um paper doll sério... Achei muito interessante que sua representação rompeu com essas ideias e com um aspeto contemporâneo nos looks.

Hello, here I am sharing some more results I drew for the challenge # 100daysofpaperdolls (in 2019). It seems to me that I should not leave them in the drawer ... 

The theme of outfits is casual and has four different hairstyles. Make your own combinations.

A paper doll to have fun! (1/3)

As I promised at the end of the Inktober challenge last year, I decided to fix some outfits and scan them and put them all together.

I will put them in different posts because I need some time to make some adjustments.

I used as a base a paper doll that I had drawn some time ago and called her Andromeda. She was a robot that would travel through the various periods of fashion history in which she wore an outfit appropriate to each period Here she will dress according different themes: lingerie, swuimsuit, casual, school uniform, formal, pyjama, cosplay, animal hobby, food and work.

Como prometi no final do desafio Inktober no ano passado, decidi consertar algumas roupas e digitalizá-las e colocá-las aqui todas juntas. Vou colocá-los em posts diferentes porque preciso de algum tempo para fazer alguns ajustes. 

Eu usei como base uma boneca de papel que eu havia desenhado há algum tempo e dei-lhe o nome Andrômeda. Ela era um robô que viajava pelos vários períodos da história da moda em que usava uma roupa apropriada para cada período. 

Aqui ela se vestirá de acordo com diferentes temas: lingerie, fato de banho, casual, uniforme escolar, formal, pijama, cosplay, hobby,  animal, comida e trabalho.Espero que gostem!Vem mais a caminho...

Here we go on 3rd day of Inktober 2018.
