Clothes for George O' Mara

Hello again! 

There is another pin-up boy in the form of paper doll that I found on a postcard.

This is a 1950s vintage photo of the physical model George O'Mara, a popular 1950s bodybuilder posing for the Kris Studios (Leather Archives, Chicago) and later an actor of action movies. (I did not know about him, but I searched it up on Google and found lots of pictures of him. Hoooot!) :)

It seems to me that it was a work based on his original photo and reproduced later in Beefcake (Taschen, 1995).

Is there more about this? ;)

Olá mais uma vez! Aqui está outro pin-up boy boneco de papel que eu encontrei num postal. Esta é uma foto vintage dos anos 50 do modelo físico George O 'Mara, culturista popular dos anos 50 posando para os Kris studios (Leather Archives, Chicago) e mais tarde actor em filmes de acção.(Eu não o conhecia, mas eu procurei no Google e encontrei muitas fotos dele. Hoooot!) :)
Parece-me que é um trabalho baseado na sua foto original publicado posteriormente em Beefcake (Taschen. 1995). Será que há mais por aí? ;)

An elegant boy!

One again from the pages of the Diabrete (year IV, # 173 of 22th April 1944) I found this elegant boy! He is the " Serapião Romão da Encarnação Galvão. He presents himself in a sporty outfit but, if the boys have patience, it is in an instant while he is ready to go to the theatre!" This was the description that accompanied this paper doll with an elegant suit and hat in the 40's style reproduced in black and white which that could be coloured to brighten the plays of the younger ones.

You can take him for a walk! :)

An elegant boy paper doll from the pages of "Diabrete",1944

Mais uma volta pelas páginas do Diabrete (ano IV, nº 173 de 22 Abril de 1944) e encontrei este elegante rapaz! 

É o "Serapião Romão da Encarnação Galvão. Apresenta-se em trajo desportivo mas, se os meninos tiverem paciência, é num instante enquanto ele se apronta para ir ao cinema!" Era esta a descrição que acompanhava este paper doll com um elegante fato e chapéu bem ao estilo dos anos 40 reproduzido a preto e branco e que podia ser colorido para alegrar as brincadeiras dos mais jovens. Levem-no para passear! :)

Mini mannequin from Finland

Mini Mannequin is a paper doll that reminds me my first paper doll Nina .

I found it in the Imaginarium store, where I also purchased paper dolls book  Paperwork .

There are four small books in four different colors but the paper doll is identical allowing you to combine and change the outfits and accessories between them.

Each book has a total of 24 outfits: 14 are for cut out and 10 that you can customize because they are for colouring or for making collages. What your imagination allows!

It seems that there is also a version with a boy but only found it online.
 

The artist is uncredited but if you like them, you can buy it from the Imaginarium  online store or if you look for Gee Pap Stationery you will find more paper dolls of this brand from Finland.

Mini Mannequin é uma paper doll que me recorda a minha primeira paper doll Nina. 

Encontrei-a na loja Imaginarium, onde adquiri também o livro de paper dolls Paperwork . 

São quatro livros pequenos em quatro cores diferentes mas a paper doll é idêntica o que permite combinar e trocar os outfits e os acessórios entre si. 

Cada uma trás no total 24 outfits dos quais 14 são para recortar e 10 que podem personalizar porque são para colorir ou fazer colagens. O que a vossa imaginação permitir!

Parece que também existe uma versão com um menino mas só encontrei online.

Se gostaram podem adquirir na loja do Imaginarium online ou se procurarem por Gee Pap Stationery irão encontrar mais paper dolls desta marca da Finlândia.

Patrizia goes skiing

From the pages of Corriere dei Piccoli #48 ( 2th December, 1962) there is another paper doll. This time it's Patrizia a girl with a  relevant sports practice wardrobe in many colours. There are many outfits for a nice playtime!

Das páginas do Corriere dei Piccoli # 48 (2 de dezembro de 1962) há outra paperdoll. Desta vez é Patrizia uma menina com um relevante e colorido guarda-roupa desportivo. Tem muitas roupas para uma boa brincadeira! :)

Easter eggs!

I share here with you one of my own creations that I made especially for you that visits my blog.

I made a paper doll with the Easter theme, for adults, I must say. I think there is a lack of paper dolls in this field. It seems to me that is where I can do a good job.

Here you have a pin-up boy with four clothes: a naughty rabbit, an Easter egg surprise (in this one you have to find the dotted line, there is no tabs), a funny chick and an Easter bunny.

I hope you enjoy and have a good time with him. Scissors up! ;)

Partilho aqui com vocês uma das minhas próprias criações que fiz especialmente para você que visita o meu blogue.

Eu fiz um boneco de papel com o tema da Páscoa, para adultos, devo dizer. Há falta de bonecos de papel neste campo. Parece-me que aqui é onde posso fazer um bom trabalho.

Há um pin-up boy com quatro roupas: um coelho travesso, uma surpresa de ovo da Páscoa, uma pintainho engraçado e um coelhinho da Páscoa.

Eu espero que se divirtam e passem um bom momento com ele. Tesouras ao alto! ;)
