I remember watching the movie Solomon and Sheba when I was a kid.
Of course I couldn't forget the ecstatic dance scene by Gina Lollobrigida.
However I couldn't remember who King Solomon was... so looking on the web I noticed that Tyrone Power, would play the role of King Solomon but he died in a fight scene in the heat of Spain and was replaced by Yul Brynner.
Although I've seen some of his films, mainly with the character Zorro, I couldn't associate him with him. I decided to look it up on the web and found it very beautiful... a real movie star!
This search led me to some paper dolls published in 1941 by Merrill Publishing Company, with an incredible resemblance... and it looks like he had a great closet! 😍
Tyrone Power and Linda Darnell were a popular film crew and most of the costumes pictured in this issue are from their film roles. For Tyrone Power some are from "The Mark of Zorro" and "Blood and Sand".
Continuing to search the web it seems he has inspired some of the most highly regarded paper doll artists.
To the next!

Para Tyrone Power alguns são de "The Mark of Zorro" e "Blood and Sand".
