Everyone has his taste

 I do not like making ephemeris but I do not become indifferent to the departure of yet another star that has achieved immortality. I'm talking about Burt (Leon) Reynolds (1936-2018) one of the sexiest actors (everyone has his taste!) of the big screen, desired by thousands and envied by so many others.I admire Burt Reynolds, like so many other movie stars, and I will keep forever in my memories the image of the first man who posed naked for a feminine magazine Cosmopolitan' s centrefold in April of 1972 (although he regrets having done it and i don't understand why ?!).

He was also a football player and recorded an album entitled Ask me what I am. 

Made hundreds of movies. For a while he was one of the highest paid Hollywood actors.
He declined the role of James Bond. He won two Golden Globes and, as never before, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in Boogie Nights (1997) when he played the role of Jack Horner as a porn director ...Reynolds was to be cast as Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). :,(To remind him I share here two paper dolls that circulate on the web. One I found in Pinterest, by Diana Clark with black and white outline and four iconic outfits from Burt Reynolds' film career.

The other one that I really think is perfect two-in-one, I do not remember where I first saw it, it's from Mr. Tom Tierney's hand, (only could!). It is identified as private stock of the artist and the character's name is  Sam Hanks. He is a movie star look-alike  and has very good resemblance with Burt Reynolds. It captures the sexy smile and masculine moustache on the body of ex-former football player (he's missing that tan) and has just one outfit and cowboy hat! I wish there was an officially published paper doll ...

Eu não gosto de fazer efemérides, mas não me sinto indiferente à partida de mais uma estrela que alcançou a imortalidade. Um que eu encontrei no Pinterest, por Diana Clark com contorno preto e branco e quatro trajes icônicos da carreira cinematográfica de Burt Reynolds.O outro que eu acho que é um perfeito dois em um, não me lembro onde o vi pela primeira vez, é da mão do Sr. Tom Tierney (só podia!). Está identificado como stock privado do artista e tem o nome de  Sam Hanks. É um movie star look-alike , muito parecida com Burt Reynolds e que captura o sorriso de mariola e o bigode de masculino no corpo de ex-jogador de futebol americano (falta-lhe apenas aquele tom de pele bronzeada...) e tem apenas uma roupa e um chapéu de cowboy! Eu gostaria que houvesse uma boneca de papel oficialmente publicada ...Haverá algum livro de arte do Sr. Tom Tierney com todas essas coisas? Quem me dera :)

Paper dolls are many times found as inspirational source. 

Again from a the pages of a fashion editorial in one women's magazine (probably from the 90's).
There are three pages inspired by paper dolls and show different styles: navy, romantic and ready-to-wear. Unfortunately the out fits doesn't match de model... but the most important on this idea is to promote this amazing art form! : )

Paper dolls são muitas vezes encontradas como fonte de inspiração. Mais uma vez a partir das páginas de um editorial de moda em uma revista feminina (provavelmente dos anos 90).
São três páginas inspiradas em paper dolls e mostram estilos diferentes: marinho, romântico e pronto-a-vestir. Infelizmente os outfits não combinam com o modelo ... mas o mais importante nessa ideia é promover essa incrível forma de arte!  : )

Spirou paper doll

Spirou by Rob-Vel,1938

The Spirou is a franco-belgian comics character (Marcinelle school) widely known as so many others such as Fantasio, Marsupilami, Astérix and Obélix, Luck Luke, Smurfs, Gaston Lagaffe ... 

It was created by Rob-Vel in 1938 and since then designed by several artists such as Jijé, Franquin, Jean-Claude Fournier, Nic & Cauvin, Phillipe Vandevelde (Tome) and Jean-Richard Geurtse Morvan and Munuera.

In Groom magazine (Jan 2017), special edition, I found an updated version of Spirou with his mascot Spip inspired in paper dolls. 

He keeps his red hair and his cap from the red uniform of an elevator operator and bell-boy in the fictional Moustique Hotel. It also adds some accessories that refer to events mentioned in an article referring to the year 2017.You could notice the Trump's blonde wig ? ; )

O personagem Spirou é um personagem de banda desenhada da franco-belga (Escola de Marcinelle), sobejamente conhecido como outros tantos tais como Fantasio, Marsupilami, Astérix e Obélix, Luck Luke, Strumfes, Gaston Lagaffe... Foi criado por Rob-Vel em 1938 e desde então desenhado por vários artistas como Jijé, Franquin, Jean-Claude Fournier, Nic & Cauvin, Phillipe Vandevelde (Tome) e Jean-Richard Geurtse Morvan e Munuera.

Na revista Groom (jan de 2017), edição especial, encontrei uma versão actualizada de Spirou com o seu mascote o esquilo Spip inspirada em paper dolls. Mantém o seu cabelo ruivo e o boné do seu uniforme vermelho de paquete no ficcional Moustique Hotel. Também são acrescentados alguns acessórios que remetem para eventos mencionados num artigo referente ao ano de 2017.

Today I share with you an illustration inspired by a paper doll created in a mixed technique of painting and collage. 

It is a caricature of a very ordinary specimen that is not on the verge of extinction... I found it very funny, notice her tanned skin, her blond wig, and the gold medallion over her little belly (probably from the beer abuse) and the crocodile skin slipper?! To combine with the out fit that will make him feel very sexy!

This illustration is from the magazine Única a supplement of the newspaper Expresso. I have no indication of the author for the respective credits nor the date of publication(maybe late 90's).

Olá mais uma vez. Se no anterior post partilhei um exemplo de bom gosto neste não gostaria de partilhar pior. Por isso aqui fica uma ilustração inspirada numa paper doll que mistura técnica mista de pintura e colagem. É uma caricatura de um espécimen muito vulgar. Eu achei muito engraçado, reparem na sua pele bronzeada, a sua peruca loura, e a medalhinha de ouro por cima da sua barriguinha  (provavelmente do abuso da cerveja) e o sapatinho pele de crocodilo?! a combinar com o out fit que o fará sentir-se muito sexy! ; )

Esta ilustração é da revista Única um suplemento do jornal Expresso. Não tenho indicação do autor para os respectivos créditos nem a data da publicação(provavelmente finais da década de 90).
