After the day of Kings comes the Carnival party where masquerade and colourful costumes and masks take place.
They are used by children and adults who don't have the possibility to use them during the rest of the year. Masquerade balls and street parades are popular this time of the year.
I'm pleased to bring to you two paper dolls with their Carnival costumes published in Diabrete #741 (1950) and #793 (1951).
A boy with costumes of knight from the times of cover and sword romances, pirate and cowboy. The girl has two princess outfits.
So boys and the girls can paint, cut and play!
"One more paper doll to cut out"... with a costume of knight, pirate and cowboy |
"The doll masked itself"... of princess |
