I should assign these words to the title of this post. I think the expression Lolita gained a greater meaning with Brigitte Bardot (b.28th Sep. 1938)
Famous for being a woman ahead of her time, playing sexually emancipated women, promoting a hedonistic lifestyle paved with a lot of gossip, she is one of my favorite movie stars.
She became a fashion icon with a style characterized by messy hair and dark cat eyes; Vichy pattern, Breton stripes, off-the-shoulder neckline, plaid dress, bikinis and ballerinas (slippers)
Trained to become a ballerina and after acting in about 47 films and recording a few songs, she decided, after retiring, to dedicate her life to something bigger: protecting and promoting animal rights.

B.B. became an activist and created the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. She is well known for her strong personality, outspokenness and speeches about animal advocacy; she was fined several times.
One of the most interesting documentaries I've seen about her and her work as an activist is« Brigitte Bardot: the oath made to animals », a documentary by Rachel Khan and François Chaumont, 2019. "This documentary tells the fight of B.B., who exceptionally agreed to testify from his home in Saint-Tropez, « La Garrigue », during the autumn of 2018."
B.B. is not just a muse who has inspired stylists and filmmakers. BB inspired Alain Aslan for the Bust of Marianne (symbol of the French republic) and still inspires artists like Milo Manara and of course paper doll artist all over the world. Check out some we found on the web...
Meu nome é Lolita... Eu deveria atribuir estas palavras ao título deste post. Acho que a expressão Lolita ganhou um significado maior com Brigitte Bardot. Famosa por ser mulher antes do tempo, interpretar mulheres sexualmente emancipadas, promover um estilo de vida hedonista pavimentado com muita fofoca, ela é uma das minhas estrelas de cinema favoritas. Ela tornou-se um ícone de moda com um estilo caracterizado pelo cabelo bagunçado e olhos escuros de gato; padrão vichy, listras bretãs, decote ombro a ombro, vestido xadrez, biquínis e sabrinas (sapatilhas). Treinada para se tornar bailarina e depois de atuar em cerca de 47 filmes e gravar algumas músicas, ela decidiu, após se aposentar, dedicar sua vida a algo maior: proteger e promover os direitos dos animais.

B.B. tornou-se ativista e criou a Fundação Brigitte Bardot. Ela é bem conhecida por sua personalidade forte, franqueza e discursos sobre defesa animal; ela foi multada várias vezes. Um dos documentários mais interessantes que vi sobre ela e seu trabalho dela como ativista é « Brigitte Bardot: the oath made to animals », um documentário de Rachel Khan e François Chaumont, 2019. "Este documentário conta a luta de B.B., que excepcionalmente concordou em testemunhar em sua casa em Saint-Tropez, «La Garrigue», durante o outono de 2018." B.B. não é apenas uma musa que inspirou estilistas e cineastas. BB inspirou Alain Aslan para o Busto de Marianne (símbolo da república francesa) e ainda inspira artistas como Milo Manara e, claro, artista de bonecas de papel em todo o mundo.
